Daredevil Concept's new facelift!

So I've been messing around with new code, and figured I'd put it all to the test.

I made, quite possibly, the smallest web portfolio I've ever created in my life! well... small in "file-size" the website has been reduced to about 4 - 5 php files, and it seems to be running a ton faster than the last!

Now it's time to "whore-it-out" to the masses and see if I could get my traffic to go up!

Oh and, once I get a scanner again, I'll be uploading my new works! trust me, you won't be disappointed.

New York Comic Con

This year was my second Nyc Comic Con that I've attended, and it was HUGE!

Yesterday is when I really let loose, showed off a few of my prints to artists that I look up to, and even tho' I was expecting bad crti. I got a lot of help with where I should be, what I should be doing.

I'd like to thank Khary Randolph, Keron Grant, Sanford Greene, and The Xion Group for the kind words!

Finally got to meet J. Scott Campbell (and has a really great little sketch book you should all give a look at), LeSean Thomas was a great pleasure to meet! Mark Brooks was awesome to meet as well!

I've made a promise to myself, and will keep my word to a few of those that I met and got to see my art work - I WILL HAVE MY OWN BOOTH NEXT YEAR! AND I'LL HAVE MY OWN SKETCH BOOK AND FINISHED PRINTS BOOK!!!

Thank you all for lighting a fire under my happy-ass, I'll do what I can to make ya all proud in some way shape or form.

On a non-fanboy note: DC Universe the game looks SWEET! Prototype looks SWEET! Ironman, the new animated series on Nicktoons looks SWEET! ok... ok, I still sound like a fan boy... lol

Found these, first one's just a random sketch I did with a pen and sharpie, the second one is a little tattoo flash art I was working on... someone actually got it on their skin!

So I was at the tattoo shop yesterday, and figured I'd give drawing with my injured hand a shot, and this is what came out of it.

I like the flash, so I drew the flash... this was taken with a friend's iPhone since I wasn't near a scanner...

Ok so I've always liked Mute Math, but I kind of put them to the side there for a while... a friend and I were discussing a few things, and he sent me the link for Mute Math's video to Typical, which I had seen when they first aired it.

I absolutely love this freakin' video, it's cool as shit, the idea is great, and well... here it is... enjoy:

1 to 2 years ago, I had designed a car wrap for Scion (the car company) and after so many nights of coming up with numerous designs that were hit or miss... I came up with this one!

Me? Tattooing?

Before we get to the end of the year, I decided to make a few changes in life.

I've managed to keep putting on the breaks on things I've wanted to do for ages, and realized that I need to STOP doing that... I need to keep pushing on... need to follow what I want to do.

I've finally made the plunge and picked up the rest of my tattoo equipment last weekend, and jumped right into tattooing my leg... and for a first time putting ink on my own skin... I gotta admit that I have a light hand, and the lines are dark and solid! That doesn't make me a good tattoo artist off the bat, but I'm definitely practicing more over the next few weeks.

Thank you all that pushed me to do it: Squeaky, Ser, David Canillas, Tito, Icee, and a bunch of other ppl that pushed me to it :).

Ok, so... I've been working on the down-low, on this new project I like to call "The Daredevil Concept" which is going to be my online portfolio.

I will be posting a ton of my stuff online pretty soon, I've been doing it over in Deviant Art with the hopes of actually making some sort of difference in the art world. Luckily lately I've been in the radar of a few people within the DA walls, and working on getting truly known by other artists, and I'll be taking part of a table at a new york comic con this year.

I'm also working on getting a book printed with my stuff along with a couple of other artists which I know, and have gotten to know in the mean time. I will let y'all know what's going on, and all I ask of you is to keep your fingers crossed!!!

A New Point Of View

First time blogger... long time reader...
I've FINALLY took the time to focus on life, and now I'm ready to share my thoughts in a very visual way... hopefully this will be a good if not great way to get it all out to the public.

Well, I'll be sure to post up my art work soon, as I'm still trying to tie up loose ends.
